Description Christian Dannie Storgaard 2008-10-09 10:18:35 UTC
First off, I haven't tested trunk, so so bug 537506 might have fixed this.

1. Select a couple of tracks and create a playlist
2. Select the Playlist
3. Attempt to use drag and drop to rearrange the tracks.

Expected results:

Tracks are reordered according to my preference.

Actual results:

While dragging it looks like the drop is going to work, but actually nothing
happens, and the track order is not changed.

Workaround:

None as far as I can tell.

I think bug 537506 made it into 1.2.1, so you should find that behavior there.

I think you're seeing the consequence of the default sort (a problem I addressed in bug 553351): if a playlist is sorted (by a column), you cannot reorder the items. If you "unsort" your playlist, can you move items?

You are absolutely right.
This bug is irrelevant, the real bug is now 553351.
