Description Chris Van Steenlandt 2008-09-27 20:28:47 UTC
Whenever I download a podcast, I can see banshee downloading it into ~/.config/banshee-1/downloads.

But after donwloading, it is supposed to move it to subdirectory 'Podcasts' (according to the forum) within my music library directory. However, this move does not appear and the podcasts file just disappears ! Status of the podcast within banshee however says 'downloaded' but when I filter on only downloaded podcasts the filtered list is empty :-(

I'm running banshee 1.3.1.

BTW I do not find a 'Podcasts' subdirectory within my Music Library (which is stored an externel USB drive) and I did not create a 'Podcasts' subdirectory myself because I assume banshee should create one.

I will add the banshee.log for what it's worth

Banshee log after downloading podcast

I can reproduce this with some of my podcast items, using svn trunk.
I haven't figured out the cause, yet.
Comment 3 Chris Van Steenlandt 2008-09-28 20:45:58 UTC
After some more research, I discovered the actual problem is not the copying from the local podcast directory to the subdirectory of the music library. It's actually the download of large podcast (say 50 MB) that are interrupted before the copy can take place. In the indicator below left shows, say, 30% and then all of a sudden disappears, result : nothing downloaded

Sorry for this change but it describes more correctly the problem.
