After installing empathy (Version 0.22.1) the accounts-window is displayed - but everything i can do is reading "install the backend packages first" or something like that.
Nothing about package names or more help.
A look at the empathy-homepage helped me, but I would prefer a hint for recommended packages, something like:
install PACKAGENAME for connecting to SERVICE,
        PACKAGENAME for connecting to SERVICE
...

Your distribution should install backends with the empathy package. Ideally we should use packagekit.

Well, there are people installing from source and other cases; perhaps the message could be improved, adding a link to somepage on live.gnome.org for example.
