Description Chris Norman 2008-09-01 11:33:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I am playing an MUD, and Orca is not reading the first line of new output is what I think is happening, because if something is only 1 line, it is not read, only the prompt which I am then shifted too.

Can anyone else reproduce this?

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Use gnome-terminal to connect to valhalla.com 4242 (`telnet valhalla.com 4242`), and start playing, wait until someone says something, or other text is shown, the first line of new output isn't spoken.

Actual results:
The first line of text is not spoken

Expected results:
The first line of text to be spoken.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

I tried reproducing the problem, but apparently the valhalla site isn't very busy this time of day.

I'm not sure, but this might be the same bug as bug #509423 (and vice versa).

Closing this as a dup of #509423.
