GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 549816
nautilus-script can't work for every case
Last modified: 2008-08-30 10:37:34 UTC
Please describe the problem: If I select 3 'a' 'b' and 'c', $1 is 'a', $2 is 'b', $3 is 'c'. Great. If I want the full path, I can concatenate $PWD or $NAUTILUS_SCRIPT_CURRENT_URI, to have /tmp/a, /tmp/b and /tmp/c. But nautilus provides a list view, in that case it's possible to launch a script which is in a subdirectory. In that case, with $PWD and arguments, it's not possible to rebuild the full path of the selected files : http://uploads.imagup.com/05/1220018003_screenshot2.png There is $NAUTILUS_SCRIPT_SELECTED_FILE_PATHS which give the filelist, but separated by spaces. So if I want to select "/tmp/a b" and "/tmp/c d/e f", this variable contains : /tmp/a b /tmp/c d/e f no way to get each path separately: /tmp/a b /tmp/c d/e f Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
