Description Peteris Krisjanis 2008-08-24 19:14:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When using Gstreamer CVS gst-plugins-ugly with ./configure --enable-experimental, which compiles resindvd, and then using this module within Totem to playback DVD, Totem doesn't remember which language for subtitles I choose. The same is for sound track.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Compile Gstreamer CVS and set up enviroment
2. Compile gst-plugins-ugly with ./configure --enable-experimental, after installing libdvdnav-dev package (to fullfill resindvd element depencies)
3. Play DVD within Gstreamer CVS enviroment using Totem
4. Try to choose language for subtitles and sound track using DVD menus
5. Choose to play movie trough DVD menu

Actual results:
Totem uses default sound track and language subtitles to play DVD

Expected results:
Totem uses selected sound track and language subtitles to play DVD

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Have you tried this with Totem from svn? According to bug 515982, it was recently made to use rsndvdbin.

This works for me now. It's not possible to select the current subpicture and audio track from the UI menus, but it is possible to do so from the DVD movie menus.

Let's close this as obsolete then.
