Description James Carroll 2008-08-24 03:39:44 UTC
Allow you to set a "Default Send From" account per contact. Here's what I run into: I prefer to use Gmail for everything EXCEPT mailing lists because Gmail does not forward/keep an email if you are the sender. This makes it appear as if my message to the mailing list never gets there. As a result I have a separate non Gmail account that I send mailing list messages from. I know I can set a global [Default] account (Gmail), but when I add a mailing list address to my Contacts I'd like to override that. Otherwise, I forget to change it and that really grinds my gears.

See http://groups.google.com/group/Gmail-Help-Message-Delivery-en/browse_thread/thread/7cd5c9969c1b35f8/9e9657c1b67ed2c6?lnk=raot for discussion of Gmail issue
