GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 546160
Reconcile window does not allow any date choice other than the current date
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:08:19 UTC
Please describe the problem: I went to reconcile a bank statement under Windows GnuCash 2.2.6. I found that I could not change the statement date in the reconcile window to any date other than the current date. The date picker is unresponsive, and if I type a different date, it replaces the typed date with the current date. Steps to reproduce: 1. Reconcile a statement. 2. The statement date (today, on 3 Aug 2008) defaults to 1 Aug 2008. 3. Attempt to change it. The date picker will be unresponsive and if you type a different date it replaces it with the current date (3 Aug 2008, in my case). Actual results: The date cannot be changed. Expected results: The date should be changed. Does this happen every time? Yes, under 2.2.6. Other information: Windows Vista x64, using (x86) GnuCash 2.2.6. This did not occur under 2.2.5.
See the workaround at bug 545722. This is the same underlying problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 545722 ***
