GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 545748
can't change date of new transaction created from 'duplicate transaction'
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:08:11 UTC
Please describe the problem: When duplicating an existing transaction, the date cannot be set using the calendar box - it stays as 01/07/2008. If I change manually the date in the box, it is disregarded and stays as 01/07/2008. It seems the date stays at the first day of current month (I tried setting the machine date in August and the date stays at August 1st). Steps to reproduce: 1. create new transaction on an account 2. duplicate this transaction and try to set the date Actual results: transaction is created but date is set at the first day of current month Expected results: date should be set manually or using the calendar box Does this happen every time? yes Other information: This problem happens on version 2.2.6-svn r17438(Windows) but not in 2.2.5 (Windows).
This is the same underlying problem as bug 545722. See if the workaround posted there works for you. In any case, a fix is already committed and is being tracked there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 545722 ***
