GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 545699
Impossible die in menu icon
Last modified: 2009-09-08 23:51:14 UTC
In the menu icon you can see the number 4 in a side, and the 3 in another. But when you look at a die, it is impossible to view both numbers at the same time, as they are in opposite sides. Other information: All opposite sides on a 6 faces die sum 7.

Created attachment 120488 [details] Potential valid replacement (4 face to a 2) I don't think this is as good as changing the 3 as the edges of the die are not as clear.
Sent to the Tango artists mailing list: Hi all, As reported in: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=545699 The 22x22 icon for GNOME Tali shows an impossible 6 sided die. The other icons are different and are correct. Not a big issue but I've made some quick attempts at some potential replacements (attached). Can someone please critique/fix? Thanks --Robert Ancell GNOME Games Developer ps. I noticed the leading edge of this icon has some transparency on it - would that have been intentional?
There were no complaints from the Tango guys so changing the 3 on the icon to a 2; fixed in 2.25: http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-games?view=revision&revision=8075
The 24x24 icon was not updated, updated for 2.28.0: http://git.gnome.org/cgit/gnome-games/commit/?id=2860744772125773c2bc36ac53929c2738a98d34
