Description Florent V. 2008-07-24 08:55:42 UTC
Please describe the problem:
With some images, using the “Save As” dialog more than once results in a blank window.

This is a problem that I've had for a while with The GIMP. I usually circumvent it by duplicating the image, then saving the clone rather than the original image.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an existing PNG-8 image
2. Use the “Save As” dialog to save it with some file name
3. Once it's done, launch the “Save As” dialog once again

Actual results:
This is the kind of window I get:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
It happened every time (following the three steps above) with 3 PNG-8 (paletted) images. I did the same with PNG-32 (RGB) images, and it wouldn't happen. But I can't guarantee you can reproduce it with any PNG-8 image, or indexed image, or that it won't happen with a RGB image.
