GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 544388
Add fullscreen mode
Last modified: 2009-10-04 15:02:30 UTC
[ Forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/491981 by Guido Günther ] Most gnome-apps maximize by pressing F11, would be nice if devhelp would do this too.
Not a high prio for me, I don't see the point in having it fullscreen since you use it together with an editor most of the time... but if someone writes the patch, I won't object to having it committed.

The more I think about it, the worse idea it is to have fullscreen just for consistency... or maybe you use devhelp completely differently than I do?
Devhelp isn't just API docs. It also has tuturials and examples and reading these on smalls screen on laptops/netbooks (like on train rides when you finally find the time) is certainly a bonus.
True enough, so even if I don't have such an usage I added fullscreen mode support; it's based on gedit behaviour, I hope you'll like it (it will be in 2.29.0). commit c84586837b65e318b3cfd3c7b0e676282255acc5 Author: Frédéric Péters <fpeters@0d.be> Date: Sun Oct 4 15:50:26 2009 +0200 Fullscreen mode (GNOME bug 544388)
Looks great. Thanks!
