Description Robert Hoekstra 2008-06-29 16:48:47 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When two layouts are defined, in my case Dvorak and Qwerty, when the layout is switched temporarily in gnome-terminal, the keys under Ctrl remain under the old (default) keyboard layout).

Steps to reproduce:
1. in default desktop with US keyboard, add dvorak layout
2. open gnome-terminal (confirm layout is qwerty both normal and Ctrl-ed)
3. switch layout (for instance through keyboard indicator applet)
4. Try an action that is Ctrl bound (reverse search through Ctrl-R in bash)

Actual results:
The Ctrl-ed keys need to be accessed the old layout way (Qwerty if Qwerty is default)

Expected results:
The Ctrl-ed keys would change layout as well

Does this happen every time?
Yes
