Description Xue Can 2008-06-23 04:17:47 UTC
In gtk+ for win32, a font pick dialog shows all the font family names in English only, such as 'Microsoft Yahei', 'simsun', etc. But now in Linux, these font name can be shown in native language such as '微软雅黑'(Microsoft Yahei),'宋体'(simsum)。Using native language are more comfortable for end users.

But the font styles are still in English on Linux, too (more properly: with a fontconfig-based Pango backend)? Does it matter much then that the font names are in English, too?

Anyway, I assume this bug is against Pango, not GTK+.
