Description harvell 2001-04-30 20:16:25 UTC
Package: gnome-applets
Severity: enhancement
Version: 1.4.0.2
Synopsis: Should be able to sort grouped applications
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-applets
Bugzilla-Component: tasklist

Description:
When using the group tasks feature of the applet you should have the option to sort
the tasks. If you have 30 tasks in one group i's impossible to find a specific task.
eg I have lots of xterms, they are all in one group (which is a good thing) when I
need to find one specific xterm (ie one connected to x host) it's difficult since they
are not sorted.

You should be able to tear off the grouped task list. This is also a problem when
trying to find one task in a large list since the list goes away each time you click on
one. If it could be torn off this would not be a problem.

You should be able to match windows based on various classes (ie sawfish matched
windows section) This would allow you to pre-group windows based on certain
criteria. ie group all xterms whose name matches "X"
