GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 53937
At startx time, saved windows are placed in shifted positions
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
If I "save current setup" while logging out of X and then reenter X, the terminal windows (which are the only ones I save) are placed on the screen in positions shifted by exactly the width of the window borders. I have attached part of a screen grab showing the shift. I use RedHat 7.1 with Sawmill. The same problem appeared with RedHat 6.2 and Enlightenment. Possibly the same as bug 33753.
Created attachment 509 [details] Window shifted after restarting X
Has this been fixed in a later release?
You mean that they were exactly along the edge of the screen when you saved the session?
