Description Maciej (Matthew) Piechotka 2008-06-15 12:11:18 UTC
Can a migration (as far as it is possible) be performed betwean the backends?
I'm thinking about the moving into webkit - at least for a test period - but what I'm afraid of is losing all stored passwords, cookies etc.

Bugzilla is not a help forum. Please post your question to the appropriate channels (such as the Epiphany mailing list). Thanks!

It is *not* a question. It is a *request* of *feature* in *form* of *question* + explanation why the feature should be implemented ;)

Let me reformulate it:
"It would be nice if after switching backend the epiphany asked if it should import the data from previous backend (cookies/passwords etc.)."

If 2.27.x is WebKit-based please include this feature
Comment 5 Xan Lopez 2009-08-27 12:34:21 UTC
2.28 will migrate all your cookies and passwords from the gecko profile. Closing this as FIXED.
