GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 537155
Ekiga will let me register but not connect, and only right after restarting the router
Last modified: 2008-09-06 16:15:45 UTC
Well, there are several things going wrong here so I'll try to list them: 1- Using Ekiga 2.0, right after restarting my router I can register my user@ekiga.net account and call 500@ekiga.net. I'm attaching the debug file.
Created attachment 112329 [details] debug for ekiga 2.0 after restarting the router
Created attachment 112330 [details] debug for ekiga 2.0 after NOT restarting the router 2- But then, if I close and restart Ekiga (without restarting the router) it doesn't let me register.
Created attachment 112331 [details] debug for ekiga 2.9 after restarting the router With ekiga 2.9, installed from snapshots.ekiga.net, after restarting the router I can register but NOT contact 500@ekiga.net.
Created attachment 112332 [details] debug for ekiga 2.9 after NOT restarting the router But then, if I close and restart ekiga WITHOUT restarting the router, I can't even register.
I see in your attachment 2 [details].9 after restarting the router lines like this: 2008/06/07 21:04:32.684 0:10.917 Aggregator:0xb37eeb90 SIP PDU is likely too large (1772 bytes) for UDP datagram. Is this bug maybe related to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=544209 ??
All problems with routers going up and down have now been fixed. If for some reason the remote host is not available, Ekiga will retry again later.
