Description Moo 2008-05-28 22:02:56 UTC
Create an acronym lookup extension for Deskbar.

When I type "RAM" it shows "Random-Access Memory", if I type "CPU" it shows "Central Processing Unit", etc.

It could either use a local database or do remote lookups via a service such as;
* http://www.acronymsearch.com/
* http://www.acronymfinder.com/
etc

I don't know if one of those sites supports OpenSearch, but if yes this would be solved when bug 528184 is fixed.

deskbar-applet development has been stalled [1]. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing the bugs as WONTFIX.
