What were you doing when the application crashed? I was trying to cancel the "Retrieving message .." operation by clicking the little red cancel cross button in the status bar (a few times, I admit) Distribution: Debian lenny/sid Gnome Release: 2.22.1 2008-04-08 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0 System: Linux 2.6.25-wl-06933-g0bacadf-dirty #161 PREEMPT Mon May 5 18:32:47 CEST 2008 ppc X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 10400090 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: Simple Icon Theme: Mist Memory status: size: 424497152 vsize: 424497152 resident: 329199616 share: 29093888 rss: 329199616 rss_rlim: 4294967295 CPU usage: start_time: 1210021709 rtime: 99906 utime: 84426 stime: 15480 cutime:1880 cstime: 553 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 100 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread 0x48056950 (LWP 8012)] [New Thread 0x4acd9460 (LWP 13294)] [New Thread 0x53aff460 (LWP 13229)] [New Thread 0x4933a460 (LWP 13222)] [New Thread 0x4ca3f460 (LWP 8072)] [New Thread 0x4c9ff460 (LWP 8071)] [New Thread 0x4a4d9460 (LWP 8061)] 0x0f720290 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0

Oh, forgot to mention, I had already canceled a "refreshing folder" operation the same way (it disappeared, the retrieving message one didn't), just in case that could have altered the state somehow.
