GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 530410
Make keyboard shortcuts configurable
Last modified: 2008-05-29 21:11:35 UTC
I use CONTROL-D a lot. Vinagre intercepts this as a shortcut for bookmarking instead. It would be very helpful if the intercepted key combinations were configurable from the gui, because almost every key combination will be inconvenient for someone out there.
I vote for this as well. I would love to change the home key... I use VirualBox a lot and habbit has me pressing CTRL PLUS CTRL+ALT is what I use to change workplaces and I find myself getting caught in a loop to release the screen.

OK, I just added a gconf key to disable all menu shortcuts. In the future I will design a preferences dialog to handle this 'hidden' feature. I like the idea to not annoying the user with lots of shortcuts being intercepted. All keys pressed should reach the remote side now.
