Description Cole 2008-04-19 21:25:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whenever a text file is saved, a dialog box comes up within seconds saying that the file on the disk is more recent than the file in the text editor.

This happens sporadically, it does not happen every time and I can't seem to find a pattern to it. I am certain that no other applications are manipulating the files at the same time.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open new text file.
2. Save text file.
3. Wait

Actual results:
At step 3, the dialog box comes up.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
No.

Other information:
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, installed from 8.04 LTS beta disc and then upgraded to latest packages.
