Description crroush 2008-04-19 17:04:13 UTC
Recently I started getting the following error:
Error while Opening folder mbox:/home/crroush/.evolution/mail/local#Inbox.

Cannot get folder `inbox': Value too large for defined data type

I believe this is related to a 2GB limitation

If your distro builds evolution with large file support, it should work fine.

I am having exactly the same problem, my inbox file at is 2G in size, and just simply does not show anymore in the Evo interface, and the indicated error message shows on the log..

I am using Evolution 2.22.1, and Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04, and I understand this are the latest versions (I am sort of newbie at Linux), so I would believe large file size support, if available, should be in place? Please, urgent help!!!!
