Description Thilo 2008-04-05 09:41:49 UTC
I like to suggest to help users to generate a smart bookmark. Epiphany is much about intuitive handling. Creating a smart bookmark is not intuitive. I could imagine that it could be. Like if a website has a search field the browser can recognize - in the add bookmark dialog it could eventually offer to use this search. If Epiphany would maintain a database of the most used searches like Google, Wikipedia, IMDB and such. Maybe some searches besides Google also could be installed by default. Maybe this database can be updated online and would be maintained via SVN.

There's a (probably outdated) smart bookmarks archive on http://galeon.sourceforge.net/bookmarks/ as you can read in the Epiphany manual (5.16). Indeed it would be nice if those were easier to install.

Otherwise this bug is a dupe of bug 336274.
