Description Karl Lattimer 2008-04-02 11:00:54 UTC
After restoring evolution from a backup file from a different username the following error is reported on sending messages.

---
Failed to append to mbox:/home/OLDUSERNAME/.evolution/mail/local#Sent: Cannot get folder: /home/OLDUSERNAME/.evolution/mail/local: No such file or directory
Appending to local `Sent' folder instead.
---

The folder configuration should obviously be updated to reflect the new username.

This has been fixed and is included in 2.24.0 for sure. What was your version, please?
Comment 2 Karl Lattimer 2008-11-24 12:43:42 UTC

Thanks for quick reply. It makes sense, then this has been fixed within bug #540274. I'll mark this as a duplicate.
