Gnumeric seems to always allow hidden sheets to be printed...
 't would be great to "lock" hidden sheets on printing...

yes that would be nice (as a workaround one can define a print area on the hidden sheets that is empty).

In fact a simpler work around is to set "Do not print with all sheets" in the pagesetup for your hidden sheet.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
