In the previous releases (2.20-) if I make a .desktop file with a custom icon (for example a screenshot from an emulator), the nautilus shows the icon downscaled to 96x96 with a nice frame (equal a thumbnail). (picture1.png)
In the newest release, the icon downscaled too small (48x48) and it lost the nice frame. (picture2.png)

The default icon view zoom level has been increased. Marking this bug as fixed. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
