Description Laurent Bigonville 2008-03-19 15:04:14 UTC
When loading a complex pdf file evince takes 100% of the cpu for over than 2 minutes to display the file
Comment 1 Laurent Bigonville 2008-03-19 15:08:53 UTC
The file load quite instantly with foxit reader on windows (on the same machine)

The file can be downloaded at http://www.stib.be/irj/go/km/docs/STIB-MIVB/INTERNET/attachments/Plan_reseau/20080211_plan.pdf

please see also bug 523374
Comment 3 Philip Ganchev 2008-10-28 00:40:25 UTC
Another PDF document that maxes out the CPU for a few minutes is attached to bug 558180. Evince also does not mis-renders the text in this document - the letters run into each other.

Poppler issue, as I said in bug #523374. Thanks for reporting.
