GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 522358
Bookmark editing doesn't always store correct name.
Last modified: 2008-03-14 10:07:27 UTC
Please describe the problem: When editing bookmark names, clicking close only saves the currently selected bookmarks new info, not retaining the other changes before the user switches to change the last one. Steps to reproduce: When editing bookmarks. Say I have... Documents Videos Pictures ...already set up to point to a folder of the same name. Now I want to change the directories names in nautilus to be lower case... documents videos pictures ...so I changed the documents names. Now I want my bookmarks to retain the upper case letter first letter and point to the correct folder. 1. I click on Bookmarks => Edit Bookmarks 2. I click on the Documents one. Change the 'Name:' field to 'documents'. Now it shows the correct change to the left of the entry field. If I click on close it will correctly store the change. If instead I click on a different entry to change, say Videos to videos, in the Edit Bookmarks menu it looks like I retain my original change to documents, but it doesn't save it when I click close. Only the one I am currently on when I click the close button. This makes it impossible to change multiple entry names at once. Actual results: It only keeps the last change. Expected results: It stores all of the changes when clicking the close button. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
