this is note a dupe!

I don't see "gun is loaded" PAGE, but DIALOG, a WINDOW!
Comment 3 Alexander van Loon 2008-03-22 16:02:53 UTC
Apparantly I encountered the same bug. This is certainly not a duplicate. When I open about:config everything seems fine, but when I choose to modify a preference, nothing happens. After I attempted to modify a preference, the tab which contains about:config would not close anymore (I was able to close other tabs), and when I try to navigate to another URL in any tab, Epiphany says it's loading but nothing happens. I had to log out and log in again to let Epiphany's crash recovery do it's work because about:config causes Epiphany to become partially unresponsive. It's always reproducible. I didn't encounter any text like "This gun is loaded".
Comment 4 Denis Leroy 2008-04-06 20:07:03 UTC
This is almost certainly a Xulrunner bug, as both galeon and epiphany suffer from the exact same problem.
Comment 5 Christian Persch 2008-04-06 20:13:02 UTC
Not reproducible in gnome-2-22.
Comment 6 Denis Leroy 2008-04-06 20:14:30 UTC
Only reproducible if epiphany is built against xulrunner. Please try that and reopen bug, thank you.
Comment 7 Christian Persch 2008-04-06 20:25:36 UTC
I did use ephy+xulrunner to test.
Comment 8 Alexander van Loon 2008-04-06 20:53:36 UTC
I certainly still have the problem with 2.22.
Comment 9 Christian Persch 2008-04-06 21:04:30 UTC
2.22.0 or svn from the gnome-2-22 branch?
Comment 10 Jakub 'Livio' Rusinek 2008-04-06 21:18:04 UTC
2.22.0
