GIMP crashes when I close the last tab from the tabs "Brushes", "Patterns", and "Gradients" that are located on the lower half of the layer, etc. box/dialog/window.

Shows default windows crash dialog afterwards. If that information was useful, I could post a screenshot.

I couldn´t try it with 2.4.5 as there are no installers available, yet.

Could be another duplicate of bug #514906. In other words a GTK+ bug.
