GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 519751
Zoom to fit doesn't work > 100%
Last modified: 2008-03-03 16:41:15 UTC
Please describe the problem: With View - Best Fit selected, the image isn't zoomed to fit beyond 100%. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an image 2. Set View - Best Fit 3. Enlarge window larger than 100% Actual results: Image is centered and 100% Expected results: Image continues to size to fit the window Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: Can't think of any particular reason why you would want fitting to stop at 100%. Can't think of any other viewers that stop at 100% (by default anyway)
> Actual results: > Image is centered and 100% > This is actually the wanted behaviour behind "Best Fit". See bug 399991 comment 3 for an explanation. > Other information: > Can't think of any particular reason why you would want fitting to stop at > 100%. Can't think of any other viewers that stop at 100% (by default anyway) > Image quality would be one reason I guess. If the difference between image size and screen size is too big the zooming can make the image unrecognizable until you zoom out again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the bug report.
