Description Sebastien Bacher 2008-03-01 12:54:07 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192430

"In Ubuntu Hardy Haron Alpha 4, Gnome sound properties has a checkbox on the second tab that says "Enable software sound mixing (ESD)". If I'm correct, esd is no longer used, but pulseaudio. The string "ESD" should be removed, or changed to "pulseaudio". Removal would probably be the better idea, because I'm sure most users don't care what its called (and its not like there's another option to choose from)."
