Description Милош Поповић 2008-02-29 16:24:57 UTC
Please describe the problem:
...see reproduceing.

Steps to reproduce:
1. I use serbian lokalization of program
2. Editing photo dscf9918.jpg will make new version instead of editing the original dscf9918 (Измењена (1)).jpg (Измењена is in serbian lokalization, in english should be something like Modify, so may be tat is the problem)
3. Clean database of photos (both Original and Modify)
4. Re-Import photos
5. Both Original and Modified versions will be imported as separat files, but they should be imported as one entry (Original and "her clone")

Does this happen every time?

it's not a matter of localization.

file versions are stored only in the db, so reproducing this relationship without it is quite hard. linking files as versions of each-other only by file name is not enough.

actually the only way to do that is to manually d'n'd images over each-other to reparent them (only in svn and if enabled).

let's see if someone have more ideas on how to do that.
