GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 519283
[Meta] GOPA Outreach bugs
Last modified: 2020-06-06 16:30:58 UTC
Tracker for potential GNOME A11y Outreach program Ekiga bugs.
who understands this bug?
This is a meta bug used to hold a group of Ekiga bugs that are important to the GNOME Accessibility Outreach Program: http://www.gnome.org/projects/outreach/a11y/. There's no action you need to take on it.
May I ask why it's gnome-love itself? I'd rather see the individual bugs it depends on get the little heart icon in the list (if they're simple enough!) than that one...
Removing gnome-love from that bug : it's not a simple bug where we can expect a newcomer to help. Jan, is it normal it's assigned to your sorry self?
It was because I was set as contact for the accessibility component.
Is this still active? How does it apply to 3.0.0?
GOPA is still active, but you can tell we're having difficulty getting takers to work on these important tasks. :-(
So what is the function of this report here in the ekiga bugzilla? It does not contain any information, does it?
(In reply to comment #8) > So what is the function of this report here in the ekiga bugzilla? It does not > contain any information, does it? The information is contained in the list of bugs this is blocked agaist. As such, this is flagged as a "meta" bug as a means to track the progress of the accessibility work allocated for GOPA.
Ekiga is not under active development anymore: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/273 Ekiga saw its last release 7 years ago. The last code commits were 4 years ago. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (and transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active Ekiga development again in the future.
