I just downloaded GIMP 2.4.4 and to my big surprise, the brushes are completely bugged. When painting with brush size 1, the preview brush is 9x as big.

For example, I have brush 1. It is 1x1 pixels. What is shown under my cursor is 3x3 pixels, but still only 1 pixel is painted, which makes it impossible for me to draw anything.

Also, it doesn't depend on what tool I use. All that uses brushes are the same. Also no difference between using a Drawing Tablet or the mouse, it's still bugged.

Also, is there anywhere I can download 2.4.2 so I don't have to wait til the next release before using GIMP again?
