This seems to be a FF bug.  I'm not sure if it's another instance of this bug or not: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384101.  But we're definitely not getting the right info from getTextAtOffset(). Based on what we do get, we assume we're on the line we were on before, and the stuckage defensive code kicks in. :-( I added a comment to the FF bug and will see how they respond.  In the meantime, I'm marking this bug as blocked.

In my testing, the changes made in bug 516174 also resolved this one.  Mike, could you please test/verify?  Thanks!
