Description theonlychurch 2008-01-29 10:29:56 UTC
For huge images a faster reaction time on layer mode changes and a smoothly working opacity slider - ie. as fast as gimp-2.4.2 was.

Other information:
When working with large images (eg. 15000x7500) Gimp-2.4.3 takes a long time to update changes I make to layer mode, eg. if I duplicate the layer and set the duplicated layer to multiply, that takes a long time. So does moving it or changing opacity - in 2.4.3 moving the opacity slider is very jerky. Gimp-2.4.2 didnt have this slow behavior on the same images.
