GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 511433
No warning when changing reconciled transactions
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:00:08 UTC
Please describe the problem: The interface correctly gives a warning when changing a reconciled transaction from the account where the transaction is reconciled in single line mode. If the transaction is accessed from another account where the split is not reconciled, changes including changing the date can be made without any warning. The warning is only displayed if the reconciled split account is changed. The warning should be displayed when anything is changed which affects the reconciled split: date, account, memo Steps to reproduce: 1. Find a reconciled transaction with an unreconciled split 2. Open the account for the unreconciled split 3. Change the date of the transaction and save. Actual results: Nothing Expected results: Warning message should be displayed. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
It seems this is a duplicate of #344869 (though that one talks about the distinction between split and non-split mode, so this bug might only be related)
