Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, this application does not track its bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla. We kindly ask you to report the bug to the application authors. For a selective list of other bug tracking systems please consult http://live.gnome.org/Bugsquad/TriageGuide/NonGnome.

If the affected third party application has a bug tracking system you should investigate whether a bug for the reported issue is already filed in this system. If it has not been filed yet please do so. Also ensure that both bug reports contain a link to each other.
Thanks in advance!

From bug #514928, one workaround for this bug is to kill esd (run `sudo killall esd` in a terminal).

This appears to be specific to Debian lenny/sid. Could anyone provide a complete stack trace for this please? You need to install debug packages for bluez-utils and then reproduce the crash.

Did the crash occur for anyone when they, for example, did something over bluetooth, like connected to their phone?

Answer to bug 514872.

I'd been running lenny, also I had installed e.g. gnash from experiential. I had installed bluetooth, however did not have plugged in any bluetooth dongle. Thus I did not use bluetooth.

I think the trouble might have started after installing kdm besides gdm, which was initially installed.

Since I experienced also audio problems (no audio) the last days, I have changed the installation back to sid and afterwards completely de-installed kde and gnome.
