xingmux has no support for:
- MPEG 2, 2.5
- Layer I, Layer II
- has hardcoded MP3-Header
- MONO MP3-Streams
- and some other things

Hi,
this should already be fixed in gst-plugins-bad CVS since yesterday around 5 hours earlier than your patch. Only thing missing seems to be support for other mpeg versions in the caps (everything else does it already). I'm working on that, but I'm not sure your solution is right as mpegaudioparse uses mpegversion=1 for mpeg2/mpeg25 too... I'll investigate :)

If something else is missing please reopen and attach a patch against CVS :)
