Description alejandro vera 2008-01-11 12:22:31 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I use ubuntu stock with compiz enabled.

All worked fine until a week ago. Since then the search tool shows me the number of results in the left panel but in the right panel shows nothing.

But, it does show the results for chat conversations... but not for files, emails or others...

Steps to reproduce:
Do a search...

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes

I can confirm this on a Debian GNU/Linux lenny system
running tracker 0.6.6-1. The corresponding bug in the
Debian BTS is:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=499655

Searching from the command line using tracker-search
works fine.

same here, with ubuntu 9.04 and tracker 0.6.93

some categories are shown in the left panel but not on the right...
the bug doesn't appears always, seems only when new files are indexed.

Fedora 11.
tracker-search-tool
0.6.95

Is this the same as bug 542057?

Can the reporter of this bug set the _version_ so we can target bugs to work on more easily please. We can also have an idea about if these bugs are likely to be obsolete too.

If you don't set the version, we are less likely to look at them.

Sorry for the spam, but I don't want to say this 88 times on each bug :)

This has been fixed in 0.7.x. Please reopen this if you are able to reproduce it with 0.7.x.
