Change view to Calendar View and highlight a calendar that can accept appointments" two or three times i could creat new events. thx Distribution: Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) Gnome Release: 2.20.1 2007-10-19 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1
please tell us how that message should look like so every users understands what to do. what is so hard to understand that message?
Well i am beginer in linux (first day) and i like it so it could be my fault but i can't find anything in the help nor on the ubuntu websites about this. how can i change to calendar view? could it be the problem i was logged in as admin? because logged in as user the problem does not exist. and if so I AM SORRY VERY MUCH! thx
hmm, in general please don't use linux as an admin. the concept of linux is that you should be perfectly well with using everything as a normal user, also for security reasons. :-) you can go to calendar view by choosing "view -> window -> calendar" from the main menu. you can also display the switcher buttons in the left bottom corner, just disable "view -> switcher appearance -> hide buttons" in the main menu. the error message is just about clicking on another "readable" calendar as default in the list of calendars in the left pane, but we have received several bug reports of users that did not know what to do after receiving this error message, so i wonder what to change so users understand what to do. if you have any idea on a better wording, please let us now!
