after suspend/resume sound doesn't work. in gnome-sound-properties when trying to test error hangs:

audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed.  Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer.

but in system-config-soundcard i heard sound

That sounds more like an alsa/sound card driver issue than anything GStreamer-related.

Try selecting a different output method then (the error message is bogus, but this is fixed in -good CVS).
