Description Pedro Villavicencio 2007-12-19 17:58:35 UTC
This report has been submitted here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-utils/+bug/177455

"General usability comment in a multiuser network-fs environment:

In a network & quota environment, users are confused when they have
500M quota but Disk Usage Analyzer says 555G free.

Can baboab check whether the command quota exists, and use its output
for the current user if it does, and if it refers to /home/?

Also:

Scan home *always* shows a full red bar at the top if sorted by size.
Even if a user is using 1% of their quota. The red looks like they are already
over quota or using up all the quota."

Thanks,

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Baobab, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/baobab/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
