Description jherran 2007-12-19 12:09:41 UTC
When I open a document, usually the size of the window is greater that screen size. This is very anoying and make me waste some time resizing the window.

I suggest that evince startup size must be equal or smaller than screen size in all cases.

I have the opposite problem. Every time I open a PDF, evince gives me a tiny window in the top left of my (large) monitor which I have to resize and move to be at all usable. I can't find any settings to specify an initial geometry, and evince doesn't remember any size information from the previous document.

I am not using GNOME or a desktop at all - I'm using a minimal but functional window manager called 9wm.
