Description David Konsumer 2007-12-18 20:35:35 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Anytime I use the brush, pencil, or eraser, I get green artifacts that make it very hard to use gimp effectively. Here is a screenshot: http://david.konsumer.googlepages.com/gimp_issues.png

The light green stuff came from moving the brush and eraser around in the drawing area (not clicking or pressing any key, just moving it over the area.) I can get rid of them by zooming in/out or scrolling the green part off the screen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Choose eraser tool
2. Move cursor in document area, without clicking or doing anything other then moving it.

Actual results:
Light green trails appear wherever the mouse has been.

Expected results:
nothing.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Your graphics card driver is broken. Please see bug #421466 for a workaround.
