Description riban 2007-12-10 22:27:34 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
I enabled xserver-xgl and compiz but everything was too slow so I removed xserver-xgl which took with it compiz and ubuntu-desktop. On restarting gdm and logging in, only the top and bottom panels were drawn with no icnos on them. There seemed to be no desktop. I ctrl-alt-backspace and logged in as another user and was presented with thie bug reporting tool
