Please describe the problem:
nautilus restarts when i try to view the properties of a file.
not all files are affected.

Steps to reproduce:
1. right click on a file
2. properties


Actual results:
nautilus restarts

Expected results:
show the properties of the file

Does this happen every time?
nearly with every file.

In general: Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

In this case: This is a Debian specific problem, see bug 440988. Please install updates provided by Debian.
