Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. This bug is fixed now:
gnome-desktop-2.20.1-2.fc8 has been pushed to the Fedora 8 stable repository.
gnome-desktop-2.18.3-4.fc7 has been pushed to the Fedora 7 stable repository.
